Search Guidelines

Guidelines to Use the Search Functionality of this Website

If you wish to search for all the words in your search text, please enclose it within two double-quotes.

For example, if your search text is the following:

"In this opening address to attendees of a UK retreat held in 2011, Shaykh Fadhlalla entices the audience with his spiritually inspired poetry whilst drawing attention, in a most beautiful fashion, to three major issues which will repeat again and again throughout the three days of retreat."

Then, the search engine of this website will search for this exact long text, whether it be in the title or the description of an item.

Consequently, if you know the exact title of an item, while it'll be fetched if you search for it without enclosing it within a pair of double-quotes, your search will become more specific if you do.

For example, if you search for a specific item with the title, Shaykh Fadhlalla Haeri On Swami Chinmayananda, enclose it within two double-quotes, as "Shaykh Fadhlalla Haeri On Swami Chinmayananda" when searching for it and the search engine will get the item with exactly this title.

If you don't enclose your search text within two double-quotes, the search engine of this website will get you the items whose titles or descriptions best match your search text, plus those that contain any of the words in your search text.
